the operations director will be responsible for managing and coordinating various functions across the homebuilding process, ensuring seamless execution from permitting to vendor management and transaction support. the position requires a proactive approach to maintaining compliance, optimizing processes, and ensuring that projects progress on schedule and within budget. key responsibilities permitting ensure all necessary permits are obtained for new construction projects. complete and submit permit applications for new construction. assist with septic permits and hoa applications. address permit application rejections in a timely manner. facilitate communication between surveyors, architects, engineers, via email and phone. regularly calling and emailing vendors and municipal permitting authorities to ensure on time deliverables and permit. ensure files are updated with all documents and permit numbers. maintain a knowledge of and be prepared to answer questions about the status of permits for all new construction....
