Experience : 5-7 years panagora group provides monitoring and evaluation services in the international development industry and currently implements the usaid/colombia monitoring, evaluation, and learning (mel) activity. the mel activity provides technical and advisory services to usaid in the following components: (1) monitoring; (2) performance and impact assessments; (3) research, assessments, and data analysis; (4) geographic information services (gis) and (5) collaboration, learning, and adaptation tasks (cla). usaid/colombia requested that the mel activity measure, monitor, and generate information on the potential effect of different conservation approaches that amazon alive activity is developing in the colombian amazon region. the information collected will enable the creation of decision-making tools for the conservation management of biodiversity. the measurement for this study will be carried out in three geographic areas to be defined by usaid/colombia. this requires designing a methodology that includes different measurement scales and various intervals for the collection of information. based on the above, the mel activity requires the hiring of an expert in big cats to analyze the behavior of jaguars in their natural habitat. this refers to analyzing the factors of anthropic action that could affect their behavior and therefore, measuring the degree of functionality of the connectivity between coverages. this bioindicator will help identify the level of conservation that exists in specific areas of the colombian amazon that benefits other groups of animal...
