Job category: production & skilled trades schedule: full time job description: our columbia, mo, office is looking for a field service technician dedicated to our customers in and around columbia, mo. this individual will travel using a service truck to our manufacturing customers with the goal of maintaining onsite dock and overhead door equipment. rite-hite service technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. they also serve as technical resources for customers and our sales team. this position works independently or in small teams in a field environment and is a primary customer contact. required experience: rite-hite hires the best and requires experience in welding, and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. prior experience in repairing or installing industrial equipment is preferred. the candidate must work independently in the field, possess good customer service skills, and be able to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds. a pre-employment drug test, a clean driving record, and a dot physical are required, as this position involves driving a company vehicle. additional information: the pay range is $24-35/hr, based on experience, with geographic differentials considered in higher cost of living areas. benefits include nine paid holidays, up to two weeks of vacation (pro-rated in the first year), additional paid time off based on tenure, and other pto options. company description: arbon equipment - a rite-hite company is a global...
