Nu was born in 2013 with the mission to fightcomplexity to empower people in their daily lives by reinventingfinancial services. we are one of the world’s largest digitalbanking platforms, serving millions of customers across brazil,mexico, and colombia. for more information, visit our institutionalpage here. about the team / role the treasury/alm manager is partof the treasury/alm banking alliance. alm’s goal is to provideanalytics and suggest strategies to optimize nubank’s balance sheetin line with the bank's risk appetite in order to protect nubank’sinterests, reputation, liquidity position, rating, andprofitability. it also coordinates active liquidity management forthe execution of funding and investment activities. responsibilities include adherence to the alm strategy, compliancewith regulatory requests, contingency funding plans, andindirectly, liquidity stress tests. assessment of tax frameworkchanges and their impacts, necessary ftp updates, and performanceof accounting exercises when necessary. as a treasury manager,you're expected to: - plan and execute funding strategies,liquidity management, capital monitoring, and prudent usage ofderivatives. - oversee the execution of the contingency fundingplan and liquidity stress tests. - ensure compliance withregulatory requests. - assess the impacts of tax framework changeson the portfolios. - update ftp, approvals, and clarify and improvepolicies when necessary. - perform ifrs or other accountingexercises when necessary. - maintain a high level of technicalexpertise within the team, enhancing business and productk...
