Overview women's health associates, a partner practice of together women's health , is seeking a full-time receptionist to join their growing team. the receptionist is a brand ambassador and is responsible for providing a warm welcome to every patient, every time. this role must provide outstanding customer service to each patient either on the phone or in person. the receptionist is also responsible for greeting patients, scheduling future appointments, and utilizing the electronic health record system in a professional and efficient manner. responsibilities greeting every patient with a smile completing and updating patients' insurance information with accuracy and efficiency utilizing the electronic health record system to complete the registration process and facilitate the patients' visit with their physician, certified nurse midwife, and/or the diagnostic technician completing the check-out process by assisting the patients with scheduling future appointments & providing referral information as directed by the providers verifying insurance eligibility to ensure timely billing to a third-party vendor collecting co-pays and deductibles as directed by the billing policies answering the appointment line and checking the email appointment request system scheduling appointments for the patients at one of the office sites and/or diagnostic departments must have a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring each patient's encounter with our practice is professional, warm, and caring and has met their needs. experience in a medical setting preferred. new gr...
