job summary and purpose reporting to a maintenance supervisor, the maintenance assistant ii has responsibility for minor repairs and regular building and grounds maintenance for the assigned complex. this position requires the ability to work flexible hours, to work independently, and to lead teams on maintenance and repair tasks requiring multiple staff. duties and responsibilities maintains the interior and exterior of assigned buildings, parking lots and grounds in good condition performs minor building repairs: carpentry, plumbing, painting, refurbishing and cleaning assists in major repairs as directed by maintenance supervisor or lead maintenance tech proactively inspects building to prevent maintenance issues, address small problems before they grow follows daily...
