This role The Global PayrollDirector is responsible for developing and executing the globalpayroll strategy across multiple countries and regions on a globalscale, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, and drivingprocess improvements and systems. Responsibilities - Lead theglobal payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processingfor multiple countries and regions (Latam, United States, Africaand SE Asia). - Ensure compliance with local labor laws, taxregulations, social security and statutory requirements in eachjurisdiction. - Drive the implementation, optimization, andintegration of payroll systems and technology to improveefficiency, accuracy, and data integrity. - Collaborate withcross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, legal and IT, toalign payroll processes with organizational objectives. - Prepareand oversee payroll audits, managing relationships with externalauditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders for audits andcompliance checks. - Stay ahead of changes in global payrollregulations and practices, adapting policies and processes asneeded. - Develop and implement global payroll policies,procedures, and controls to ensure consistent practices andcompliance. - Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)and metrics to assess payroll performance and ensure service levelagreements (SLAs) are met. - Act as a strategic advisor toleadership on payroll-related matters, including cost managementand process improvements. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. - Minimumof 8+ years of experience in managing relationships with globalpayroll service providers, with at least 3 years in a global ormulti-country payroll role; in a dynamic, fast-growing environment. - Proven experience implementing and scaling payroll systems in amultinational environment. - Strong knowledge of global payrollcompliance, statutory deductions, tax rates, social securityrequirements, and benefits regulations in multiple countries,particularly in LATAM and the US. - Exceptional project managementand organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiplepriorities in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent understandingof HRIS systems and their integration with payroll systems. -Strong analytical skills to assess payroll data, identify trends,and make data-driven decisions. - Exceptional attention to detailand accuracy. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsto effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. -Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentialityrequirements in handling employee information. - Proficient inusing G-suite and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Google Sheets, for data analysis and reporting.
