You will be part of the Finance & Accounting team in Colombia, collaborating closely with various departments including Accounts Payable, Legal, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;), Payroll, and Human Resources. Your role will involve supporting colleagues across multiple administrative functions, including finance managers, partners, team leaders, and other team members within the firm. You will report directly to the Finance & Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for the monthly closing and accounting for Colombia, managing both statutory and US GAAP accounts, utilizing systems such as SAP. You will be the main point of contact at the firm for orientation about accounting and supporting our internal clients with best practices. The Senior Accountant must also guarantee that the financial information is accurate and communicated efficiently, while also providing excellent customer service. As a Senior Accountant, you will lead accounting processes driving innovation in controls, reporting, and compliance. You will oversee audit processes, local tax obligations, and other tasks based on local and firm requirements. In addition, you will play a critical role in coordinating the cell finance work with relevant support teams, including Global Ops, CTT, and Tax Outsourcing. You may also coach and develop junior team members serving as a team leader for them. - 4–5-year university degree in accounting - Certified Public Accountant registered with the Central Board of Accountants of Colombia, authorized to sign financial statements - 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in professional services/consulting environment or multinationals - Excellent knowledge of local accounting rules and local taxes - Relevant experience with external auditing - Experience with SAP is a plus - Experience with IFRS - Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools - Fluent in Spanish and English - Proactive problem solver, working independently to find best solutions - Leadership experience to coach more junior colleagues
