Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with other functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Resolves production scheduling and shipping problems; determines validity of warranty/DOA claims; changes production and shipping schedules. Defines logistics requirements, dependencies, deliverables, and timelines for the project plan. Provides business case assumptions (resource, capital and inventory/fixed assets). Develops repair support plans. Reviews logistics strategies for consistency with product/offer requirements. Determines initial inventory levels to support demand for new and refurbished stock for installation and maintenance. Ensures offer/platform team target dates are met by coordinating completion of logistics field operations, manufacturing, sourcing, material planning, logistics, repair management and forecasting. Ensures product support approval given for PEC status changes only when logistics imperatives are met. Works with limited guidance on projects within defined criteria. Extensive knowledge of company products, functions, and procedures is preferred. Provides solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems.
