Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and culinary standards. 2. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus incorporating seasonal ingredients and local flavors. 3. Maintain proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices at all times. 4. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment ensuring cleanliness and functionality. 5. Contribute to maintaining efficient kitchen operations and timely food service. 6. Assist in inventory management and food cost control. 7. Participate in special culinary events and themed gastronomic experiences. 8. Adapt to changing needs and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a hotel or resort setting. - Strong culinary skills and techniques, with experience in Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine. - Deep knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. - Experience with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. - Strong teamwork and effective communication skills. - Fluency in Spanish; knowledge of English is a plus. - Diploma or degree in culinary arts preferred. - Food safety certification required.
