A Day in the Life **Please complete** Responsibilities may include: - Streamline supply chain logistics to meet customer or manufacturing requirements. - Ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes, such as replenishment systems, data interchange, demand management, electronic data systems administration, and related functions. - Drive customer satisfaction and time efficiency within existing financial constraints to meet marketing and financial objectives. - Build relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers through delivery issue resolution. - Integrate market intelligence from operating entities, distribution, transportation, suppliers, and customers to enhance competitive positioning. FUNCTIONAL CAREER STREAM: Management and supervisory professionals oversee tactical, operational, and strategic activities within specified areas. Levels typically have six or more direct reports, spending most time overseeing their area, managing performance, developing talent, engagement, and inclusion, communicating business and operational developments, planning, prioritizing, and directing responsibilities of direct reports. Key Responsibilities: Autonomy: Manages departments or small units with multiple teams led by managers and/or supervisors, providing motivational leadership and performing work independently. Organizational Impact: Leads strategy development for own department or business area, ensuring links to company aims and objectives, making significant decisions that impact finances, employees, or public image. Innovation and Complexity: Drives innovation across the business area, improving processes, systems, products, or services, tackling complex problems requiring detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation. Communication and Influence: Develops long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicates with senior leadership regarding ongoing operations and strategic initiatives, influencing across functions and businesses to negotiate cooperation. Leadership and Talent Management: Directs and leads departments, broad functional areas, or geographies, including one or more teams led by managers and/or supervisors, authorizing hiring, firing, promotion, and rewards within own area. Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas, mastery-level knowledge and skills within specific technical or professional disciplines, with a broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
