Job Description: We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join the team on a contract basis. This is a remote position supporting attorneys primarily in civil litigation with a focus on employment law cases. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, be organized, and able to manage tasks independently while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: - Draft, edit, and prepare legal documents including complaints, motions, and discovery. - Conduct legal research and summarize findings. - Review and organize case materials and evidence. - Assist attorneys with case management and trial preparation. - Maintain client communication in a professional and timely manner. Qualifications: - Knowledge of California employment law is a required. - Proficient in drafting legal documents and managing litigation timelines. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting. - High attention to detail with strong organizational skills. - Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment. - Associates degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred.
