Pastry Chef Role As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Your primary goal will be to consistently contribute to departmental targets by maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and present high-quality dishes within company guidelines. - Keep all working areas clean and tidy, ensuring no cross-contamination. - Prepare all mise-en-place for relevant menus. - Assist other departments as necessary and maintain good working relationships. - Report maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues. - Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety and food safety legislation. - Awareness of departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team. - Be environmentally aware. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Positive attitude - Good communication skills - Ability to work under pressure - Ability to work on own or in teams Previous kitchen experience in a similar role is advantageous. Basic food hygiene knowledge is also desirable.
