**Who You'll Work With**: - You’ll be based in one of our Latin American offices, working with our McKinsey Digital team.- McKinsey Digital brings together the best of McKinsey’s digital capabilities to help our clients use digital technology to transform their businesses. As part of this group, you’ll join a global team working on everything from IT modernization and strategy to agile, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. You’ll typically work on projects across all industries and functions and will be fully integrated with the rest of our global firm.- You’ll also work with colleagues from across McKinsey & Company to help our clients deliver breakthrough products, experiences, and businesses, both on technology and non-technology topics.**What You'll Do**: - You will work as part of our Digital McKinsey team.- You'll typically lead a team of 3 - 5 consultants to help clients achieve new performance highs. Projects focus on defining and establishing enterprise capabilities into organizational, process, and technology blueprints, and/or shaping strategies for IT departments. You will have the opportunity to build on your proven leadership skills and leverage your interest in inspiring others, building strong relationships, and creating a true followership. In a collaborative team setting, you'll work closely with others but also autonomously with little direction.- Additionally, you will provide contributions to the Digital / Industry practice (e.g., generating internal knowledge, organizing events, etc.). You’ll also gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm. Consultants receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on their teams.**Qualifications**: - 8+ years work experience in a blue-chip, consultancy, or start up environment - Master’s / advanced degree required in engineering, science or another technical / related field - Previous experience building large-scale full stack architectures / platforms and deep knowledge of core IT systems (e.g., core banking systems, ERPs, Telco BSS platforms) - Fluency in full stack engineering including modern programming languages across stack (e.g., cloud, front-end, back-end, API architecture, etc.) - Exposure to implementation of Agile / Digital Transformations - Demonstrated leadership within or outside a work setting - Ability to excel at solving problems that require logical reasoning, creative thinking, comfort with numbers, and the ability to untangle complex issues - Fluency in English and Spanish (for Spanish speaking countries) or Portuguese (for Brazil) - Strategic management perspective - Strong interpersonal and communication skills (e.g., oral, written, and visual including chart making) - Passion to challenge the status quo and find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas - loves and embraces change - High energy and passionate individual who inspires teammates to reach their maximum potential - Excited about trying new solutions outside standard approved - Willingness to travel
