This role The Director ofBusiness Development is responsible for leading our strategicexpansion efforts by securing and strengthening partnerships withtop telecom operators and large national retailers for a regionwith several countries. Responsibilities - Develop and execute abusiness development strategy targeting large retailers and telecomoperators. - Build and maintain high-level relationships withC-level executives at companies such as Claro, Movistar, and topnational retailers. - Lead contract negotiations and strategicagreements, ensuring long-term and mutually beneficialpartnerships. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance,risk, and product) to design tailored credit solutions for ourpartners. - Identify and analyze new market opportunities, makingdata-driven decisions to support expansion. - Monitor industrytrends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies accordingly. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or arelated field. - 5+ years of experience working with largeretailers or telecom operators (Claro, Movistar, etc.). -Background in consulting, banking (corporate finance, investmentbanking, or credit analysis) or high-level commercial roles infintech, consumer lending, point-of-sale financing or fast-growingstartups. - Proven ability to engage and secure meetings withC-level executives. Strong negotiation skills with a track recordof closing high-value partnerships. - Excellent strategic thinking,communication, and leadership abilities. - Willingness to travelacross several countries in the region. - Strong analytical andfinancial modeling skills. - Desirable previous exposure to LATAMmarkets in a business development role.
