Description and Requirements We are looking for a skilled professional to lead software sales across multiple Latin American markets. Based in Bogotá, this role combines technical knowledge with strong commercial focus. It involves collaborating with internal teams, partners, and clients throughout the sales cycle. The position supports opportunity development and solution delivery. Primary (but not exhaustive) Responsibilities Accompany hardware sellers, software vendors, and channel partners on customer visits . Create and deliver quotations , draft contracts, track purchase orders, and activate licenses & management consoles for customers. Lead weekly opportunity reviews with software vendors. Maintain and report pipeline and forecasts on a weekly basis. Deliver training sessions to Lenovo internal sales teams and channel partners. Organize and run Software Tech Days for end users and customers. Travel within Mexico and to Peru as business needs dictate. Provide regular updates to local and regional Sales & Services executives . Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills Engineering background in Software (management, administration, cybersecurity, EDR, MDM) for a technical sales role that covers Colombia, Central America and the Caribbean, Chile and Argentina. The position must be filled in Bogotá, Colombia 5+ years of proven success selling corporate software to large enterprises, public-sector and government accounts, education, and mid-market customers. Track record of identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing opportunities with IT and security leadership—both directly with end users and through channel partners . Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with strong skills in deployment, troubleshooting, architecture design, consulting, and environment analysis . 5+ years of experience analyzing and responding to technical bid documents (RFI/RFP) and tender specifications. Confident presenter and demonstrator —able to deliver in-person and remote demos, technical Q&A sessions, and executive briefings. Preferably from a pre-sales or solutions-architecture background, with at least two years in a quota-carrying sales role (base + commission). Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, services, procurement, channels, alliances) and committed to delivering technical proposals, quotes, and any documentation needed to close deals. Able to draft, review, and qualify Statements of Work (SOW) and select third-party partners from both a technical and commercial perspective, adhering to Lenovo’s ethical standards. Familiarity with—ideally hands-on knowledge of— Absolute, Ivanti, SentinelOne, Blancco, Scalefusion, 42Gears is highly desirable. English proficiency: ~60 % (intermediate to advanced).
