Job Description This is a remote position. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Eastern with an hour's unpaid break (40 hours per week) Role Summary The Technical SEO Specialist owns the day‐to‐day technical health of the client's website. You will run proactive crawls, surface issues in real-time, and partner with engineers and content teams to keep the site fast, crawlable, and error-free. Your work directly impacts organic growth and fuels our acquisition goals. What You’ll Do ● Run automated Screaming Frog crawls every morning. ● Validate crawl settings, clean noise, and prioritize findings. ● Post a concise Site Health update in a designated Slack channel ● Fix duplicate titles, 404s, redirect chains, thin‐content flags, and similar issues directly in Strapi and Contentful. ● Coordinate with Engineering for code‐level fixes such as schema markup, page‐speed optimizations, and robots directives. ● Deliver a comprehensive Technical SEO health report on the first business day of each month, covering crawl stats, Core Web Vitals, indexation, structured‐data validation, Lighthouse trends, and backlog status. ● Recommend measurable next steps and ensure they reach the product roadmap. ● Automate repetitive tasks like crawl exports and Slack alerts using Screaming Frog and n8n. ● Maintain and refine checklists, SOPs, and dashboards so anyone can quickly understand site health. What You’ll Bring ● 2–4 years in technical SEO for high‐traffic SaaS or e‐commerce sites. ● Advanced‐level Screaming Frog skills, including custom extraction, crawl comparisons, and API integrations. ● Hands‐on experience editing content and metadata in Strapi, Contentful, or similar headless CMSs. ● Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript with respect to SEO. ● Comfort with basic log‐file analysis, Core Web Vitals, and Google Search Console data. ● Strong communication skills to translate crawl data into actionable updates for marketers and engineers. Hardware Requirements This job requires crawling our website with Screaming Frog several times a day, which can be resource-intensive for some computers.
