Role Overview As a Clinical Referral Nurse, you will be responsible for managing patient referrals, conducting pre-procedure health assessments, and ensuring compliance with Western Australian healthcare regulations. Working remotely, you’ll combine clinical expertise with administrative skills to enhance patient care and facilitate a seamless referral process. Additionally, this role includes real-time medical scribing during procedures, ensuring accurate documentation of patient records in collaboration with the on-site medical team. Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive phone-based health assessments to ensure patients are well-prepared for procedures. - Process and manage patient referrals, prioritizing straightforward cases to optimize workflow. - Perform real-time medical scribing during procedures, transcribing doctor dictations into the Genie software and printing reports for immediate use. - Accurately audio-type medical reports during slower periods, maintaining high standards of documentation. - Coordinate with the on-site medical team to facilitate smooth patient flow and care delivery. - Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations. - Adapt to varying workloads, balancing referral management, scribing, and administrative tasks as needed. - Stay up to date with Western Australian healthcare regulations, ensuring all interactions adhere to compliance standards.
