About the Role Maintain and develop commercial opportunities as well as client portfolios within assigned territories. Ensure the achievement of business goals and performance indicators. - Implement sales strategies and execute directed activities by global/regional/national sales leadership. - Develop and maintain relationships with existing or potential clients, whether through phone calls, virtual meetings, or in-person interactions. - Update and record information into the CRM system on a weekly basis. - Request from the finance department the creation of new clients in the system, credit approval for these new clients, and modifications to existing clients' credit conditions based on their payment behavior. - Provide accurate quotes for transportation requests generated by current and potential clients, following up on proposals to identify success or failure causes and suggest improvements. - Advise clients on service conditions outlined in each proposal and offer value-added tools provided by the company. - Cultivate business within guidelines of sustainability, anti-corruption, and quality policies, remaining true to guiding principles and corporate values. - Analyze data and market research to create strategies enhancing commercial management efficiency. - Collaborate with collections teams, informing clients about invoicing and regularly following up on payments. At least two years of sales experience within companies related to international cargo transportation and/or freight forwarding, either domestically or abroad. - A technician, engineer, or professional degree relevant to the field, or extensive experience in the Freight Forwarding or international trade industry. - Coursework or training in sales strategy management, diplomas, or training in sales or customer service is beneficial. - Skill in preparing documentation, quotation forms, and spreadsheets for numerical evaluation and calculations. - Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English. - Ability to read and understand simple instructions, emails, proposals, or bids. - Ability to write business correspondence appropriate to the industry. - Ability to present effectively to clients, groups, and other employees. - Skills to calculate parameters and amounts such as transportation rates, discounts, interest, commissions, ratios, and percentages. - Ability to apply common sense in understanding situations using written, oral, or diagram-based communication. - Capacity to handle problems involving multiple concrete variables within standardized and specific situations typical of the commercial department or its interaction with other departments. - Knowledge of customized forms and legal documents. - Strong command of Incoterms.
