The Work Package Management (WPM) position is focused on the technical management of engineering activities. You will be responsible for your specific Work Package, and you will be working closely together with the Engineering Delivery Managers, with the aim of creating goal-driven team(s) based on engineering earned value management. In this role, you will be part of a professional team working on multi-disciplinary work packages. Your role is to coach and support your people, and act as a development manager and coordinator for the delivery of the work packages. You can expect intensive collaboration with suppliers and various departments, such as Engineering Disciplines, Procurement, Production, and Testing & Inspection. Within this role, you will report to the overall Product/Program Manager and to the Engineering Delivery Manager. **Responsibilities** - WPM is responsible for generation and maintenance of Work Package (WP) estimates. - Definition of the WP scope, including deliverables & milestones. - Estimate and maintain an accurate forecast against a baseline. - Formal acceptance of the WP in consultation with and on behalf of the team who will be delivering the WP scope. - Allocation of tasks to the delivery team, overseeing progress and coordinating delivery as required. - Ensuring WP activities are defined, organized, and planned in accordance with budget, scheduling, performance, and quality requirements as defined in the Design Document. - Regular reporting on WP progress using the defined engineering dashboard template. - Prepare and maintain schedules of activities, phases, and milestones for work packages, taking account of dependencies between activities and resources constraints. Demonstrate robust monitoring and reporting of progress against the baseline schedule and forecasted project completion. - Manage risks and opportunities proactively with internal and external stakeholders. - Understand and adhere to formal governance processes, establish clear roles and responsibilities for your team and conduct robust internal and independent project reviews. - Ensure delivery of the WP continuously meets the requirements as set out in the Design Document. - Ensure that WP quality is maintained to the correct standard to assure customer and stakeholder satisfaction. **Skills and Requirements** - Bachelor´s degree in computer science, software engineering, Electronics engineering, or related fields. - Proven Project Management skills (PMI Certificate is a Plus). - ** At least 5 years of experience as a developer, support, integrator, validator, or a mix of the 4 disciplines.**: - Experience managing projects and technical teams. - ** English language fluency (B2 or above).** LI-JCB LI-HYBRID
