Job Overview: As a Data Engineering Specialist, you will contribute to the overall success of CCAU Technology by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for resolving technical problems for assigned applications, providing technical leadership on multiple small projects, and participating in or managing specific sections of medium projects. Key Accountabilities: - Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. - Participate in the full development life cycle of business solution design and implementation, including analysis, defining user requirements, developing test cases, and conducting tests. - Provide production and user acceptance testing support to assigned applications by identifying, evaluating, escalating, and resolving problems and supporting other team members. - Track work assignments, status, and reporting, configure automation test cases, and resolve multi-faceted problems to meet the technical needs of assigned applications. - Lead technical projects to implement solutions to technical problems, involving planning and scheduling resources, developing detailed project plans, monitoring progress against planned objectives, financial review, and securing consensus and co-operation from technical staff and senior management. - Participate in systems implementation processes by defining technical requirements and documentation, developing best practices, performing architecture design, defining ETL process and workflows, developing user documentation, providing user training, and providing post-implementation support. Reporting Relationships: - Reports to: Software Engineer Lead – Level 8 - Direct Reports: Technical staff on an individual project basis Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field) required; Project management, Agile methodology, or other advanced degrees preferred in Data Integration, Reporting, Business Intelligent Solutions. - 5-10 years of experience required; Must have minimum of 8 years experience with Reporting tools (Power BI, Cognos, etc). - Knowledge of Big Data solutions, Hadoop, EDL, DWH, Data Visualization, Strong experience with structured and unstructured datasets, orchestration & ingestion/extraction of data, SQL/NOSQL, scripting, automation, computing in the cloud, application monitoring technologies. - Working knowledge of at least one or more programming languages (JavaScript, Java, .NET, Python, Perl, PHP, BaSH, XML, HTML, C/C++/C#, RegEx, etc.), Experience working in an agile development environment (Confluence, Jira, CiAD pipeline, Scrum/Kanban), B1 Level of English, Detail-oriented, team player with an ability to work with minimal direction, Ability to create technical solutions that increase competitive advantage, Project management skills, Ability to solve technical problems/processes and understand complex details.
