This is a remote position. Job Description Take on a vital role as the first point of contact for customers facing plumbing emergencies during overnight hours. As an After Hours Emergency Dispatcher, you’ll coordinate critical emergency responses while providing calm, professional support to customers in distress. Responsibilities Answer emergency plumbing calls during critical after-hours periods (5pm-8am Eastern Time) Gather detailed information from distressed customers about their plumbing emergencies with empathy and professionalism Coordinate and dispatch qualified technicians to emergency job sites for rapid response Contact on-call technicians during overnight hours to ensure immediate emergency coverage Manage multiple emergency situations simultaneously while maintaining calm and organized approach Utilize downtime effectively by handling administrative tasks, email responses, and scheduling activities Maintain accurate communication logs and detailed dispatch records for operational tracking Provide exceptional customer service during high-stress emergency situations
Requirements Outstanding communication skills with clear, professional English speaking ability Ability to remain calm, composed, and solution-focused during emergency situations Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and non-traditional hours as needed Strong organizational and multitasking skills for managing multiple emergency calls efficiently Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet, professional work environment for overnight operations Basic computer proficiency for call logging, dispatch systems, and administrative tasks Willingness to work approximately 3-4 shifts per week of 12-15 hours each Previous customer service or dispatch experience preferred but not required for the right candidate
