Job Summary This role oversees the implementation of proper credit procedures throughout the hotel in line with local and corporate policies. Responsibilities: - Establish and maintain local credit policies and procedures relating to billing, credit cards, collections, inquiries, and cheque collection as well as prepare end-of-month and year-end reports in accordance with established corporate guidelines. - Ensure all guest or company inquiries regarding their accounts are handled promptly (same day if possible) in a professional manner. - Guarantee rapid and accurate invoicing for all accounts and timely follow-up on collections. - Maintain credit records, original approved credit requests written by, and other records for regular hotel accounts. - Ensure the check-in/check-out procedure protects the hotel without burdening or delaying guests. - Develop and maintain relationships with regular customers to foster communication and aid in collections. - Prepare and conduct a monthly credit meeting.
