About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Content Assistant to help expand the digital presence of a growing health and wellness brand. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys repurposing video content, editing reels, and sharing podcast snippets across platforms like TikTok and Instagram. The right candidate will work closely with the brand owner to increase visibility and engagement using existing assets.
This is a part-time remote role , starting at 10 hours per week with the opportunity to increase hours based on performance and initiative. Key Responsibilities: Repurpose existing video content and graphics for short-form social media posts. Edit and publish engaging reels and TikTok videos using current trends and tools. Extract and repurpose key moments from long-form content, such as podcasts and interviews. Maintain consistent tone and branding across all content. Stay current with social media trends and recommend new ideas for content. Track content performance and suggest improvements to boost engagement.
Requirements Qualifications: Experience in social media content creation, particularly on TikTok and Instagram Reels. Proficiency with basic video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, InShot). Strong attention to detail and a good sense of storytelling through short-form content. Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to grow with the brand. Good communication and organizational skills. Nice to Have: Experience using scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Planoly). Background in wellness, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands.
