Sales Specialists work alongside our sales team to bring our newest Core & Companion products to market; today, our team is focused on Service Hub and Operations Hub. The core role of a Specialist is to help our sales team close deals by providing specialized, consultative expertise that helps our customers solve their business needs with our tools. Specialists do this through a combination of internal prep work, customer-facing meetings, customized demos, and solution building. While the role is part of PreSales, the Sales Specialist team is a quota-carrying sales organization that is compensated based on monthly performance. Your Role at HubSpot As a Sales Specialist, you will work with our direct and channel sales reps to answer questions, strategize on opportunities, and take live sales calls for Operations Hub and Service Hub. Your role is expected to add value to the sales experience by helping businesses understand the value of our emerging product lines. The sales reps you’ll align with expect you to be a subject matter expert on our Operations and Service products, the competitive market, and how HubSpot solves for the customer. You’ll be expected to advise on best practices for setting up, implementing, and succeeding with our tools and help customers understand how they all work together. Your role will carry an individual monthly quota, determining your variable compensation. Responsibilities of an Associate Sales Specialist: Collaborate with sales & channel reps. Always be learning about our Service/Operations products as it evolves & the market around us. Be a point person for asynchronous deal strategy and opportunity management. Consult on complex use cases and make product recommendations via Slack Create resources and enablement for frequently asked questions. Help reps identify good-fit opportunities in their territories for upselling our products. Close both new business and install base at or above a predefined number on a monthly cadence.
