Senior Engineer Role at ScotiaTech, Scotiabank's Technology Hub in Bogota We are seeking a Senior Engineer to contribute to the overall success of our Security Platform Engineering (SPE) team. The successful candidate will ensure specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of our business strategies and objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to the SPE team's success by ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. - Work closely with members of the cyber security engineering, red team, and development team to align content strategy with project goals and objectives. - Participate in internal calls and meetings with vendors to discuss project progress, address technical challenges, and align on next steps. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, configuration documents, troubleshooting guides, executive reports, and user-friendly dashboards to support cyber security engineering projects. Requirements: - 3-5 years of public cloud support experience, preferably in GCP and Azure. - 3-5 years of experience in automating deployment processes and working with CI/CD tools (Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment, etc.). - 10 years of experience working with Linux, Shell, Python, SQL, Ansible, etc. - Knowledge of Network Security, architecture, and applications infrastructure. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience in Java. - Experience in cyber security. - Experience with breach and attack Simulation platforms such as Mandiant, SafeBreach, Pentera. Soft Skills Required: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Should be a team player.
