Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. This position is responsible for supports the accurate, compliant, timely processing and execution of IT&S contracts. It is responsible for reviewing and ensuring contracts and projects have proper funding, are within budget, have proper authorization, and are in compliance with the Banks’ expenditure guidelines and procedures. They lead the maintenance of the Contract Management System (CMS) database and act as the primary point of contact for the processing of contracts. Accountabilities Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Provides the following support for IT&S : Address queries on preparing and coordinating the intake of contracts Reviewing contract packages for completion of required documentation, funding information, presenting for final approval and execution, of all contracts provided to IT&S Finance. Maintain records management for contracts and supporting documentation. The incumbent contributes to maintaining best practices for processing contracts, procedures and complying with Bank guidelines and principles. They participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis and reporting for the Senior Manager and Management, as needed. IT&S Requestor: Resolve issues around expense claims timing, rejections, error correction, etc. Team Senior Analyst: Escalate issues for resolution. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML,ATF,sanctions and conduct risk.
