Responsibilities - Instruct patients on the use of recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers, and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene. - Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans. - Implement and coordinate preventive dental care treatments such as flossing, fillings, sealants, x-rays, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated. - Diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, and restoration. - Assess the patients’ overall dental health and look for the presence of dental diseases by thoroughly examining the patients’ teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments. Qualifications - Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical procedures. - Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Dentistry. - Unrestricted and current state license in good standing. - Should be computer proficient. - Possess strong bedside manner and great communication skills. - Requires CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
