Inventory & Demand Specialist Location: Remote (Preference for LATAM or Europe) Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST Compensation: $1,500 – $3,500/month (depending on experience & location) Time-Off Policy: 10 PTO days + US public holidays Role Overview The company is hiring an Inventory & Demand Specialist to manage forecasting, inventory visibility, and allocation across multiple channels including DTC, Amazon FBA, and retail. This role is vital to ensuring product availability while avoiding stockouts or excess, owning the full inventory planning cycle across 25+ SKUs. You will analyze sales trends, build reports, and collaborate with procurement, CX, and growth teams to drive smart inventory decisions. Key Responsibilities Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning Build and maintain rolling forecasts across all SKUs and sales channels (Shopify, Amazon, retail) Analyze historical sales data, velocity, and seasonality to anticipate future demand Adjust forecast models for new product launches, promotions, and marketing inputs Inventory Management & Reordering Own reorder point logic and safety stock thresholds based on lead times and MOQ Monitor daily inventory health, flag low-stock risks, and prevent overstock scenarios Generate weekly inventory reports and monthly forecast accuracy summaries Allocation & Supply Coordination Create channel-level allocation plans to support fulfillment goals across platforms Align closely with Procurement & Production to ensure timely and accurate POs Support new SKU launches by building pre-launch demand plans Tools, Reporting & Cross-Functional Support Build and improve planning tools in Google Sheets; automate reporting where possible Collaborate with finance, growth, and CX to incorporate external drivers into forecasts Liaise with internal teams; may support in external manufacturer communication Key Deliverables Monthly SKU-level demand forecast Weekly inventory risk and reorder reports Channel allocation plans for DTC, retail, and Amazon Forecast accuracy tracker and improvement plan Qualifications 2+ years experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain analytics Advanced Google Sheets/Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros) Familiarity with OMS/WMS/ERP tools (e.g., NetSuite, DEAR, Cin7) Strong understanding of e-commerce and DTC inventory flows Shopify and Amazon (FBA) experience preferred Strong written and verbal English skills (C1 or higher) Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with a solutions-first mindset Comfortable working independently and communicating via Slack and Google Meet Experience supporting US-based companies or teams Work Style & Culture Fit Available to work live 9 AM–5 PM EST alongside US teams Highly organized, communicative, and able to thrive in ambiguity Collaborative with the ability to work asynchronously via Slack Brings curiosity, accountability, and a drive for continuous improvement
