Battery Systems Engineer Job Description As a Battery Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and release teams in manufacturing and battery assembly plants. - You will be responsible for ensuring that high-voltage batteries pass End of Line (EOL) tests at our Pilot Plant. - Assist in issue troubleshooting and document/track issues. - Analyze EOL data using Vector CAN tools, INCA, or plant tester diagnostic tools. - Support root cause problem-solving activities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform Battery EOL testing for various HV batteries assembled in the CTC Pilot plant. - Aid in change control and establishment of clean points. - Document new requirements, best practices, and lessons learned. - Support pilot vehicle triage and systems level troubleshooting of battery packs. Requirements We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer with a Bachelor's degree in engineering. - Advance English and Spanish language skills, B2 or above preferred. - Strong systems engineering knowledge and analytical problem-solving skills. - Experience with data acquisition and diagnostic tools: INCA, Vector tools: CANalyzer. Preferred Qualifications - Electrical Engineering degree with 2-3 years of automotive industry experience. - High Voltage Battery or High Voltage powertrain experience. - Experience with electronic system level troubleshooting and embedded controls.
