Job Title | SEO Specialist - Technical & Content Strategy Full-Time | Remote Working Hours | CST About Role Pavago is for an SEO Specialist to join their client's dynamic team — someone who can bring both technical SEO expertise and creative content strategy to the table. Key Responsibilities 🔧 Technical SEO - Conduct in-depth SEO audits (crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, etc.) - Identify and prioritize site issues; collaborate with developers to implement fixes - Optimize site speed, mobile responsiveness, internal linking, schema markup, and redirects - Manage sitemap.xml and robots.txt configurations - Ensure GA4 and Google Search Console are properly set up and tracking SEO KPIs - Proactively respond to algorithm updates and adjust strategies - Evaluate UX and conversion pathways to help turn organic traffic into leads - Conduct competitor research and monitor evolving search trends 📝 Content Strategy - Perform keyword research, content gap analysis, and SERP audits - Develop SEO-driven content calendars with strategists and copywriters - Write content briefs for landing pages, blogs, and service pages with clear optimization guidelines - Oversee on-page SEO: metadata, headings, semantic HTML, and internal linking - Monitor performance of new and updated content; iterate for better results - Maintain quality standards and SEO consistency across all content assets Requirements - 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred) - Strong grasp of both technical SEO and on-page/content SEO - Demonstrated ability to lead technical audits and collaborate with developers - Proven track record of building and executing SEO-driven content strategies - Familiarity with SEO tools such as GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio - Fluent in English (written and verbal) and comfortable with client communication - Bonus: experience with local SEO, schema markup, and conversion-focused UX What Makes You a Perfect Fit - You love both numbers and narratives — equally excited to debug Core Web Vitals as you are to craft a content strategy - You can speak SEO to developers, clients, and copywriters — adjusting your language for each audience - You're collaborative, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced agency environment - You’re detail-obsessed, organized, and manage multiple priorities with ease - You care about impact — tracking how your work drives traffic, leads, and business growth What Does Your Day Look Like? - Morning team standup or async updates via Slack - Reviewing performance dashboards in Looker Studio or GA4 - Conducting a technical audit or digging into an issue flagged by a strategist - Keyword mapping and planning with the content team - Writing or reviewing SEO briefs for upcoming content - Reviewing developer updates or client feedback - Checking in on rankings, crawling errors, or content performance - Ending the day by documenting your progress in Trello and prepping your next tasks Interview Process 1.
