Job Overview We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team in the role of Sales and Marketing Tendering Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the tendering process, from receipt of Request for Quotation (RFQ) through to submission of tenders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in tendering and a proven track record of delivering quality output to deadlines. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a multi-discipline team. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate all aspects of the tendering process, including receipt of RFQs, development of tender proposals, and submission of tenders. - Review customer documents and develop tender proposals that meet their requirements. - Work closely with Product Management, Account Managers, and Technical Service Engineers to define product offerings and develop bid strategies. - Create bid cost models that combine technical and commercial considerations. - Organize and coordinate activities and timings for input to the proposal from stakeholders, including Account Managers, Customer Services, Product Management, Pricing, Legal, and Supply Chain. - Define, compile, and write tender proposals to customers, completing all submission documentation, including commercial scope and deliverables. - Coordinate pre-submission review with Sales leads. - SUPPORT account managers during negotiations. - On successful contract award, prepare all necessary handover documentation and coordinate handover processes to Account Managers, Customer Services, Product Management, and Supply Chain. - Present weekly reports based on MS Project or related tools like XLS to control timescale for all contract awards. - Keep up-to-date with current product designs by liaising with Product Management/Engineering teams and using this knowledge to ensure future offers reflect current product offerings. - Perform Lessons Learnt exercise after each tender concludes to share and agree Best Practice within the team. Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork Requirements KEY EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business field. - Minimum 2 years of experience in tendering. - Data-driven, analytical & process mindset with significant attention to detail. - Strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities / indirect leadership. - A high level of initiative is required with adherence to delivering quality output to deadlines. - Electrical Engineering background to provide a holistic engineering awareness in the Sales & Tendering process. - System-savvy, preferably with experience in Salesforce.com. A Minimum of a good understanding of Microsoft Office Packages (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - CLEAR and confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Flexibility to assume workloads which necessitate adjustment of priorities. - Able to work alone and as part of a multi-discipline team. - Understanding of TE Energy's product portfolio is a plus. - Good understanding MS Project and PMP Certification is a plus. - Fluent English is desirable Benefits This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including opportunities for career growth and professional development.
