Job overview we are looking for a skilled professional to join our team in the role of sales and marketing tendering engineer. the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the tendering process, from receipt of request for quotation (rfq) through to submission of tenders. the ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in tendering and a proven track record of delivering quality output to deadlines. they will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a multi-discipline team. key responsibilities: - coordinate all aspects of the tendering process, including receipt of rfqs, development of tender proposals, and submission of tenders. - review customer documents and develop tender proposals that meet their requirements. - work closely with product management, account managers, and technical service engineers to define product offerings and develop bid strategies. - create bid cost models that combine technical and commercial considerations. - organize and coordinate activities and timings for input to the proposal from stakeholders, including account managers, customer services, product management, pricing, legal, and supply chain. - define, compile, and write tender proposals to customers, completing all submission documentation, including commercial scope and deliverables. - coordinate pre-submission review with sales leads. - support account managers during negotiations. - on successful contract award, prepare all necessary ...
