**Job Summary**: We are looking for a **Vessel Planner** with proven experience using **Navis N4** to join our terminal operations team in Colombia. This position plays a key role in coordinating and optimizing vessel and yard operations, ensuring efficient container flow, safe planning, and real-time execution of stowage plans. **Main Responsibilities**: - Prepare detailed **stowage plans** for loading and discharging containers, considering weight distribution, container types (reefers, IMO, oversized), and vessel stability. - Use **Navis N4** to monitor and coordinate all vessel and yard operations in real-time. - Collaborate closely with gate clerks, yard supervisors, vessel operators, and stevedores to ensure smooth execution of each operation. - Plan and manage **yard container positions** to support vessel operations and terminal productivity. - Troubleshoot planning conflicts and operational issues as they arise, ensuring mínimal disruption. - Ensure compliance with **safety procedures** and international maritime regulations during planning and execution. - Generate and update reports, such as bay plans, loading summaries, and shift activity logs. **Requirements**: - **2+ years of experience** in vessel or yard planning in container terminals. - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience using **Navis N4** (vessel and yard planning modules). - Familiarity with **port operations**, container logistics, IMO regulations, and planning best practices. - Availability to work in **rotating shifts** (day, night, weekends, and holidays). - Technical or university degree in logistics, maritime operations, international trade, or similar fields. - **English and Spanish fluency** is required (spoken and written).
