Software Application Specialist We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Software Application Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and administration of software applications in our ServiceNow SAM Pro solution. - Main Responsibilities: - Manage ServiceNow SAM Pro module to meet business needs. - Integrate SAM Pro with other ServiceNow modules as needed. - Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into our SAM Program. - Administer J.S. Held software applications portfolio. - Document software processes and procedures. - Liaise with business, Technology Services teams, and application vendors to manage applications, support, and contracts efficiently. - Coordinate technical application problems with vendor support teams. - Develop plans and strategies for off-the-shelf and custom-built applications. - Manage application-related projects aligned with project management standards. - Administer applications by managing users, licenses, and contracts. - Ensure successful management and testing of application updates and changes. - Maintain system documentation and knowledge bases. - Plan, coordinate, test, and communicate changes, upgrades, and new services. - Ensure effective end-user training programs. - Identify opportunities for new applications to add business value. - Manage business requests for new applications and drive the procurement process. Requirements - Required Skills and Experience: - Professional level English fluency. - 3 – 5+ years of applications administration or closely related experience. - Bachelor's degree in a technical or technology-related discipline strongly preferred. - Vendor management, contract management, and license management experience. - Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms. - Demonstrated success in a remote role is strongly preferred. - Ability to develop and effectively maintain internal and external relationships. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Preferred Qualifications - Desirable Skills and Experience: - 3+ Years of experience with SAM Pro Administration. - ServiceNow SAM Pro Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Hands-on experience in the following ServiceNow Modules (SAM, ITAM, ITOM/CMDB/Discovery). - 3+ years ITIL/Agile experience - Nice to have - ServiceNow Gen AI experience. - Business process automation experience is a plus.
