Specific responsibilities will include**: - Deeply researching and understanding the problems of instructors and students, and be able to accurately and thoroughly articulate requirements which strive to solve the problems identified - Prioritizing requirements based on quantitative & qualitative evidence in a manner that best supports business goals - Communicating to clients and internal stakeholders about the product itself, upcoming releases, and product roadmaps - Coordinating closely across all products to ensure cohesive solutions and capabilities - Working closely with the senior product leadership team to inform the strategic direction and individual product roadmaps - Obtaining feedback from users, customers, sales, engineering, and other constituencies - Maintaining awareness of trends in education and technology, as well as competitive positioning - Maintaining deep involvement with P&L; product line decisions and collaborate with leadership on yearly planning - Presenting at professional conferences and webinars offering thought leadership and demonstrate product impact in the market - Working closely with the client community answering questions, organizing collaboration and engagement, and facilitating knowledge exchange - Creating resources to support product adoption, retention, and new sales - Required skills/qualifications:_ - Bachelor’s degree or higher - 4+ years of software product management experience - Experience with working with teams in an Agile or SAFe framework - Familiar with or has a certain level of expertise with accessibility, including content and platform accessibility - Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, including building collaboration and consensus among diverse teams of peers, experts, and senior management - Ability to work in an ever-changing, fast paced, demanding environment - Demonstrated ability to effectively work through conflict to meet objectives and maintain strong relationships across teams with different work styles and personalities - Able to effectively deal with a certain degree of ambiguity/autonomy and capable of making sound business decisions - Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills - Basic understanding of technology-mediated learning and pedagogy - Foundational research and methodological skills - Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above This job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required.
