In this role you’ll make an impact by enabling sustainable and new buisness opportunities for Planetary Health division within Novonesis in Latam Andean region. Key responsibilities include: - Relationship Building and Networking: cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers. Engage in networking activities, participate in different industry forums, and build rapport with potential clients to position the company as a trusted partner and solution provider. Develop/maintain power map to understand decision power distribution; leverage the executive suite - Market Understanding and Analysis : work closely with the sales, marketing and technical teams following closely on market dynamics and trends. Develop deep understanding of customer behavior, needs , and emerging opportunities to develop strategies for business growth. - Lead Generation and Prospecting: Responsible for generating qualified leads and prospecting for new business opportunities. This may involve industry events, cold calling, and leveraging online channels to identify and engage with potential clients. - Proposal Development and Presentation: collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients. Articulate the value proposition of the company's products or services, address client concerns, and negotiate terms to secure new business opportunities - Negotiation and Deal Closure: lead negotiations with potential clients, seeking to reach mutually beneficial agreements that meet the company's revenue and growth objectives. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts, leveraging the understanding of client needs and market dynamics to secure successful deals. For this position you should have/be: - Relevant experience and high performance in Business Development roles, technical sales, value selling. - Experience and/or good knowledge on the following industries would be a plus: grains, vegetable oils & fats processing, starch processing and biofuels. - Great communication, networking and presentation skills; - Team player. - Customer centricity mindset (focus on customer needs/insights and customer value) - Enterprise mindset and strong innovation driver. - Travel availability (up to 50%) - English and Spanish languages Could our purpose be yours?
