This person will play a key role in scaling our new business unit by attracting strategic clients (importers, wholesalers, fintechs, etc.) who need efficient and secure payment solutions focused on the Venezuelan and broader Latin American markets. Key Responsibilities 🎯 Actively prospect companies with cross-border payment needs and present our value proposition. Identify decision-makers and map key accounts, building mid- and long-term commercial relationships. Understand each client's financial flows and tailor the pitch to their needs (consultative selling). Collaborate with product and operations teams to adapt the solution to specific customer requirements. Build and maintain a healthy, well-documented pipeline in the CRM (Hubspot or similar). Take part in commercial proposals, contract negotiations, and deal closing. Gather market and customer insights to support product development. Represent Retorna at key industry events, fairs, and meetings to build alliances and generate leads. Requirements Requirements 🧠 We’re looking for someone with strong commercial instincts, consultative sales skills, and strategic thinking—someone who sees every client as unique and understands that selling is about co-creating tailored solutions. Must have 3+ years of experience in B2B business development, consultative sales, or account management. Proven experience working with financial products, international payments, fintech or SaaS solutions. Solid understanding of APIs and how they integrate in B2B platforms. Demonstrated ability to close high-value deals. CRM proficiency, pipeline management, and reporting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Fluent English (essential for working with international clients and partners). Nice to have 👍🏼 Familiarity with remittance markets, cross-border payments, or B2B financial solutions in LATAM. Experience selling to importing companies or businesses with international payment needs. Existing network in key industries (wholesale, e-commerce, logistics, agribusiness, etc.). Valid U.S. visa to attend international industry events.
