Job Overview The Billing Analyst role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for managing and resolving all aspects of billing and billing query resolution. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely billing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and ensure that monthly billing is complete and accurate for assigned customer base in accordance with close calendar. - Process billing adjustments timely and accurately to customer accounts, ensuring proper levels of authorization and documentation are in place. - Review invoices and contracts, conducting variance analysis with required sign off. - Resolve assigned billing cases in a timely and accurate manner to meet all internal SLAs. - Collaborate with cross-functional organizations to respond to customer inquiries, investigating and resolving potential customer billing issues. - Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and other issues working with upstream teams to fix root cause problems. - Perform month-end close activities. - Process data fixes as requested. System Knowledge: - Knowledge of Oracle (preferably Cloud environment). - Experience with Siebel, Salesforce (SFDC). - Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word proficiency at intermediate level. Requirements and Qualifications: - 3-5 years of billing experience in a global or multi-national company. - Excellent communication skills, including research, writing, and presentation skills. - Experience dealing with escalations from internal and external customers. - A 'can-do' attitude, fostering a mindset of accurate and timely billing with great attention to detail. - Ability to work both individually and as part of a team. - Models the Equinix Culture and Values.
