Title: Identity Access Management (IAM) EngineerRequisition ID: 212279 Purpose The Team The Global Identity &Access; Management organization is responsible for setting thestrategy and roadmap for Identity and Access Management (IAM) anddefining, delivering, operating, and governing security controlspertaining to IAM across Scotiabank globally. This includesIdentity Lifecycle Management, centralized provisioning ofworkforce identities, access governance, certification of workforceidentities and accounts, management of privileged access,authentication including Multi-Factor Authentication and SingleSign-On, as well as the selection and integration of IAM solutions.The Role The IAM Engineer handles the practical requirementsanalysis, providing integration solution, development,implementation, and support for Web Access Management systems.Accountabilities - Champions a customer-focused culture to deepenclient relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships,systems, and knowledge. - Works with a development team to handlethe whole project cycle and deliver quality technical solutions. -Designs, codes, tests, implements, and supports applicationssoftware that is delivered on time and within budget. - LearnsSecurity technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.- Participates in an on-call pager rotation to provide after-hoursmaintenance support. - Initiates proactive communication withinternal/external teams. - Understands how the Bank’s risk appetiteand risk culture should be incorporated into day-to-day activitiesand decisions. - Actively pursues effective and efficientoperations in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code ofConduct, and the Global Sales Principles, ensuring the adequacy,adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls tomeet obligations with respect to operational, compliance,AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk. - Champions a high-performanceenvironment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.Education / Experience / Other Information - Must have: - Strongexperience in DevOps (Jira, Git, Bitbucket) tools. - Strongexperience in Java, Cloud, and Web development. - Knowledge ofsecurity protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, LDAP, and MFA. -Working knowledge and understanding of Linux and Tomcat. - B2 levelof English. - Working knowledge and understanding of cryptographyand certificate management. - Knowledge of Identity managementproducts and technologies. - Knowledge of system monitoring such asSplunk and Dynatrace.
