Role Overview We’re looking for a technical, T-shaped Automations & Professional Services Engineer to help drive innovation in our automation and AI-driven professional services. This hybrid role blends client consulting with hands-on engineering—ideal for someone who thrives in low-code tools like Make.com or n8n, and is equally comfortable writing Python code, integrating LLMs, or managing cloud workflows. Key Responsibilities Client-Facing Cloud Engineering – 50% - Lead migrations to Microsoft 365 and Azure environments (SharePoint, Exchange Online, VMs). - Deploy and configure SaaS/PaaS solutions across client systems. - Integrate apps and services using Make.com, Power Automate, or custom connectors. - Perform stakeholder interviews to document requirements and translate them into solutions. - Secure and onboard new tools into resilient client architectures. Automation & AI Engineering – 50% - Build automation workflows using Make.com, n8n, or similar RPA platforms. - Develop Python scripts or function nodes to enhance workflow logic and integrations. - Engineer AI-powered automations using OpenAI, LangChain, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). - Design multi-agent systems for business use-cases using CrewAI, Autogen, or similar frameworks. - Monitor, version, and optimize automations for cost, performance, and resilience. - Write clear documentation, runbooks, and present solutions to technical and non-technical audiences. Required Qualifications - 3+ years experience in automation engineering, cloud infrastructure, or systems integration. - Proficiency in Python; experience with JSON, SQL, REST APIs, and token-based auth flows (OAuth2, JWT). - Experience designing workflows in platforms like Make.com, Zapier, Power Automate, or n8n. - Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange) and Azure cloud services. - Understanding of API pagination, retries, rate limits, and webhook handling. - T-shaped profile: deep technical knowledge with strong consulting and communication skills. - Hands-on exposure to AI tools, prompt engineering, and LLM-based automation. Preferred Skills & Experience Automation & Platform Engineering - Advanced skills in scenario design, error handling, versioning (Make/n8n). - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and self-hosting n8n environments. - Custom node or app development using JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python. AI & Agentic Systems - Integration experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama-3, etc. via REST or LangChain. - Knowledge of RAG workflows with Weaviate, Pinecone, or Azure AI Search. - Experience orchestrating agents with LangGraph, CrewAI, or ReAct-like planners. - AI safety, token optimization, explainability, and responsible AI practices. - Deployed multi-agent systems on managed control planes (MCPs) with secure, multi-tenant observability. Traditional Dev & Cloud Integration - Strong understanding of DevOps pipelines (GitHub Actions, IaC with Terraform or Pulumi). - Background in API development or integrations using Python/FastAPI. - Familiarity with cloud infra security (Key Vaults, RBAC, secret management). - Knowledge of reliability patterns (idempotency, circuit breakers, message queues). Business & Process Consulting (Senior Candidates) - Business process mapping (BPMN, Six Sigma). - Change management and client training strategies. - Strong documentation habits aligned with SOC2/compliance best practices. Observability & Performance Monitoring - APM tools (DataDog, Prometheus, New Relic) for workflow and model monitoring. - Creation of custom metrics: cost per inference, failure vs. degradation alerts, LLM latency tracking. - Experience with performance tuning for AI & automation workflows. Soft Skills & Working Style Agile/Kanban delivery with 2-week sprints and iterative demos. - T-shaped learning mentality – quick learner across adjacent domains. - Root-cause troubleshooting via logs, stack traces, and observability tools. - Clear and confident communicator, able to explain tech to executives and end-users alike.
