We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Team, where you will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing our next-generation data infrastructure. In this role, you will take the lead in data architecture and pipeline development, creating robust and scalable data solutions that support our growing data needs and strategic objectives. *100% Remote in Colombia* Responsibilities: - Design and implement a scalable data infrastructure in a cloud environment (Azure or AWS). - Architect and build ETL/ELT pipelines to streamline data ingestion and transformation. - Collaborate with the data engineering team to create data lakehouse and warehouse solutions. - Ensure data quality, governance, and security across the data platforms. - Optimize workflows and implement automation using tools like Airflow, Databricks, and Snowflake. - Support the integration of Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in related field of study. - Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS). - Strong experience with Airflow, Python, and data transformation tools. - Hands-on experience with Databricks or Airflow, Snowflake, and data lakehouse/warehouse architecture. - Knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, and data pipeline best practices. Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field. - Proven track record of implementing scalable data solutions. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
