Our Team:- The Americas region is the home to over 3,000 employees and covers North America and South America countries. The current majority employee presence is in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Brazil, Argentina.- Main responsibilities: - This position plays a key role within the Americas region by analyzing company’s compensation & benefits policies and practices versus external markets, providing recommendations for making internal policies fit for current business goals, and ensuring comprehensive understanding and adoption of these policies by business leaders, People & Culture colleagues, and employees.- Major areas of responsibility include: - Oversees implementation of global/regional compensation strategy across LATAM countries. - Ensures effective market pricing structure is in place for all jobs across the Americas region. - Identify relevant compensation & benefits market data sources and conduct in-depth benchmarking analysis. - Manages annual survey submission process for the Americas region. Includes survey completion, submission and obtaining results. - Provides Compensation & Benefits data analytics management. This involves the ability to source, interpret, organize and present data from a variety of sources. The role requires the ability to create and manage information databases, dashboards, etc. - Performs evaluation of jobs in the region using internal global grading framework and methodology. - Leads annual compensation planning process for the region in close collaboration with Global Business Services. - Designs new and creative local compensation programs to meet needs of business as appropriate. Recommends the use of existing compensation programs/solutions as appropriate. - Ensures implementation of effective governance for all compensation & benefits activities in the LATAM countries. - Leads/supports other Rewards & Performance programs as required. - About you- Experience: - 5+ years of experience in managing the lifecycle of compensation and benefits plans in LATAM (North America is a strong plus), from benchmarking and design, deployment, operational management, cyclical review and valuations; - Experience in pharma, life sciences or consumer goods industry is a plus. - Education: - Bachelor’s degree in HR, finance, engineering, computer sciences or other analytical fields of study - Functional & Leadership skills- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw insights from data. - Project management skills. - Strong business and finance acumen. - Achieving results in a matrix-structured organization. - Excellent collaborator across diverse and cross-functional teams. - Ability to communicate effectively and influence in a cross-cultural setting. - Continuous improvement mindset and aptitude for creative thinking. - Positive Influencer able to articulate the case for change and investment. - Ability to influence stakeholders without direct reporting relationship. - Excellent command of written and oral English with ability to convey complex topics in a professional setting.
