This individual will represent Anthology Services – specifically from the vantage point of Services Delivery – in ensuring that its value proposition, resource experience, implementation approach, and methodology are articulated in a responsive, timely, and intelligible way during the sales cycle. Critically, the Director will also provide continuity and drive knowledge-transfer as institutions move from prospect to customer and are handed off to Professional Services Delivery and Customer Experience teams for implementation.Primary responsibilities will include:Serving as the liaison between Field Operations and the PMO/Delivery PracticesUnderstanding the needs and expectations of targeted higher education institutionsForecasting and mitigating prospect concerns related to project implementation and governanceResponding promptly to prospect needs and communicating with confidence and passion using domain and implementation expertiseCollaborating effectively with the Anthology proposal team to produce high quality RFP responsesParticipating in the preparation and delivery of demos, presentations, and contract negotiationsEstablishing and maintaining reference lists across regions, solution areas, and other criteria as definedParticipating in recurring regional sales team meetingsParticipating in conferences and webinars, as neededParticipating in project onboarding and kickoff activities, as neededAssisting in professional services’ capacity planning and resource assignment through the development of a demand model, based on sales pipelineReaching back to closed deals to ensure alignment of the customer implementation experience to commitments expressed during the sales processEngaging in the continuous improvement of project onboarding and deliveryStaying apprised of industry trends and competitor win-strategies in the area of project deliveryCollaborating, developing, and executing a growth strategy for Education, Managed, Professional and Student Success services in conjunction with the Business Development teamManaging assigned resources (e.g. Solutions & Delivery Manager)The Candidate:Required skills/qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeAt least 12 years of overall experience3 or more years of senior-level Professional Services experienceHigher Education tech implementation experience in LMS, SIS, and/or CRM solutionsUnderstanding of the Higher Education landscape respective to institutional type, organizational structure, and departmental responsibilitiesGreat oral and written communication skillsStrong presentation skillsMust be open to travel when necessaryHighly organized with exceptional eye for detailStrong documentation skills to facilitate knowledge transferTakes a strategic approach to workSelf-motivated and self-directedAbility to maintain a positive outlook in the face of deadlines and adversityNatural storyteller and passion for presenting solutions to solve problemsAble to make effective presentationsAble to articulate and logically communicate process stepsAble to prioritize work and strong project management skillsAble to meet deadlines, follow up on commitments, and act as neededTeam player with ability to develop and maintain internal and external professional relationshipsFluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or abovePreferred skills/qualifications:Prior experience with Anthology’s implementation methodology and customer lifecycleFamiliarity with Higher Education software from Canvas, D2L, Ellucian, Jenzabar, Workday, or Microsoft DynamicsMicrosoft skill set - D365, Azure knowledgeMultilingual skills (Portuguese preferred)This job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required.
