Job Description We are looking for a skilled Senior Product Development Engineer to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. As a member of our product development team, you will be responsible for delivering innovation pipeline projects within predefined time, resources, and budget. Your key responsibilities will include translating list of requirements into several concepts, refining concepts based on project stakeholders and subject matter experts, leading testing solutions, consulting & aligning with process and/or material experts and local production on industrialization, supporting, inspiring, and collaborating with fellow product development engineers to come up with optimal solutions, and being a key technical knowledge holder in production process and product design. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechatronics Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields, as well as knowledge and experience in developing plastic products, including injection molding, extrusion, and other plastic processing methods. You should also have at least 5 years of proven experience in managing complex project portfolios, business excellence, change management, with high organization and proactivity to support project teams and senior managers. A strong analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and willingness to travel (10-20% if necessary) are required for this position.
