Consider this your introduction to the sales organization, spend some time learning, and be on your way to an exciting career at Salesforce What You’ll Do As Solution Engineer also known as a “Pre-Sales Consultant” or “Sales Consultant,” the Solution Engineer is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in company’s technology infrastructure, and to remove all technical objections in the sales cycle. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, or work experience, etc.) - Experience at Solution Engineer/Pre-sales Engineer/Customer Success or similar role - Solid presentation and communication skills - Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied environments - Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology - Knowledge of related applications, the AI landscape, and other cloud technology - Experience in AI, automation, Generative AI Strategy and LLM-based Autonomous Agents - Established and experienced pre-sales professional, ideally previous experience as a Sales Engineer/Architect for a CRM/AI company or similar technology - Ability to build impactful assets, demonstrations and prototypes - Skills and track record on project delivery in a customer environment - Team delivery, working with large groups in pressurized environments to deliver challenging complex proposals, solution designs and solutions - Continuous learning attitude with a demonstrated history of self-enablement and advancement in both technology and behavioural areas. - Ability to communicate efficiently up, down and across an organization, summarizing concepts, scenarios and situations to senior internal and external individuals and teams, including positioning negative recommendations or proposals. - Self-management and organizational skills, able to prioritize work based on evaluation of different requirements.
