We are looking for a Financial Analyst that has an aspiration for playing a leading role in providing management, various internal and external stakeholders with timely and reliable forecasts of the company’s financial and business activities to support management decision-making. You will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, help building long-range operating plans, improve monthly and quarterly reports and track KPIs relevant to the business. Rate paid in USD: 12 per hour **Responsibilities**: - Partner with leadership team in building short and long-term budgets on cash and accrual basis, including projecting revenue by revenue streams and OPEX by departments, groups, classes, regions and various organizational units; - Prepare variance analysis, track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus budgets and projections to ensure transparency and enhance control over operations and use of the company resources; - Monitor weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cash spending; - Team up with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models for new business offering and by evaluating ROI of new strategic investments; - Analyze booking, revenue forecasting, OPEX by departments, groups, regions, and countries; - Project and monitor ARR, LTV, ACV, CAC, margin on recurring software and professional service projects; - Partner with leadership and HR in developing and maintaining hiring plans and projections; - Analyze recourse allocation, time spending by projects, resource utilization, gross margin, and prepare valuable insightful reports to allow management making important business decisions; - Participate in developing reporting package for leadership team, board and investors; - Participate in various projects and build ad-hoc financial reports as needed **Requirements**: - Ability to work from 10 am to 6 pm M-F, EST or CST time. - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA is preferred - 5+ years of experience in advanced financial analysis, planning and budgeting - Previous experience in a high-tech software and/or start-up environment - Skillfulness in simplifying complex problems and building solutions and translating them into short and long-term projections - Very knowledgeable in financial planning and reporting tools - Experience in complex financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting - Knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition software is required - Comprehensive knowledge of cost accounting is a plus - Able to efficiently prioritize and execute against competing tasks and projects - Proactive, resourceful and reliable, extraordinary problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills; - Lead or participated in implementation of budgeting systems - QB Enterprise, NetSuite and other ERP, Adaptive Planning, PowerPoint and Excel guru - Must possess your own laptop/desktop that meets the following minimum qualifications: - Processor: Core i5 or higher - RAM: 8GB or higher - Must have a reliable internet connection with the following bandwidth requirements: - Minimum Download Speed: 6 Mbps - Minimum Upload Speed: 5 Mbps - A quiet, private place in your home where you can work without background. **Benefits**: - Flexible work hours - Access to diverse projects - Opportunities for professional growth - Collaboration with diverse teams - Work from home - No commute time - No dress code (unless there’s a meeting!) - Eco-friendly work lifestyle - Exposure to multicultural teams - Potential for long-term engagement - Improved work-life balance **About 1840 & Company**: 1840 & Company is a global leader in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and remote talent solutions, dedicated to propelling businesses forward through our comprehensive suite of services.
