We employ thousands of Twilions worldwide, and we're looking for more builders, creators, and visionaries to help fuel our growth momentum. **Responsibilities**: In this role, you'll: - Ensure reliability, availability and security, of cloud-based distributed systems built to seamlessly scale to several million transactions per day, tackling some of the most complex and exciting technical problems in the industry - Enable millions of consumers to do secure and frictionless sign up and sign in every day using the services from the global brands they trust. - Own mission critical services and engineer it to work reliably in any circumstance. - Share your technical expertise with other engineers and work with them through an accelerated learning process. **Qualifications**: **Required**: - 5+ years of experience with SRE culture, improving reliability with automation, chaos testing, and process improvement - Scripting programming skills such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible and others - Experience designing and operating distributed systems and cloud infrastructure at scale. - Solid Knowledge of Cloud Provider Tools, preferably in AWS stack - Hands-on experience in automating and improving the deployment pipelines and CI/CD in the public cloud. - Experience working on security evaluations and penetration tests - Knowledge in techniques such as Infrastructure as code, containerization and container orchestration tools - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot in networking, performance, system and infrastructure issues using standard tools. - Experience working on a distributed team, with different time zones - Experience with on call rotation **Desired**: - Experience with programming in the following stacks React, Java and or Golang. - Capable of reasoning about SWE concepts such as API definitions, database modeling ,microservices architecture and common failure modes. - Background in telecommunications domain - Background in security domain **Location**: This position will be located in Remote - Colombia, either in our Bogota office or remote. **What We Offer**: There are many benefits to working at Twilio, including, in addition to competitive pay, things like generous time-off, ample parental and wellness leave, healthcare, a retirement savings program, and much more.
