Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sourcing Director to spearhead strategic sourcing efforts across key categories including Packaging, CAPEX, Energy, and Indirects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage sourcing activities for packaging, CAPEX, energy, and indirect/general expenses. - Foster strong partnerships with business leaders to drive procurement strategies. - Develop and oversee a multi-disciplinary sourcing team of 7 direct reports. - Oversee and improve supplier relationships, negotiations, and contract management, particularly for high-value spend. - Communicate procurement strategies, risks, and performance updates to senior leadership and stakeholders. - Lead the development of a regional procurement team and support cross-functional collaboration with Operations, FS&Q;, R&D;, Supply Chain, and HR. - Ensure continuous improvement and best practices within the procurement function. Candidate Profile: - Experience: minimum 7+ years in sourcing/procurement, with a focus on Packaging, CAPEX, Energy, and general expenses/indirects. - Industry Background: experience in the Food & Beverage sector is preferred, but candidates from other industries with relevant experience are also considered. - Leadership Skills: strong team leadership capabilities and experience in managing cross-functional teams across multiple regions. - Strategic Thinker: ability to align procurement strategies with broader business objectives and drive organizational change. - Results-Driven: a track record of driving cost optimization, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency. - Flexibility: comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
