We are dedicated to helping Higher Ed thrive by transforming their institutions to agile, digitally connected campuses that enable student success. **About the opportunity** The incumbent in this position develops and manages executive level client relationships as well as with key stakeholders at multiple levels that within an institution that are involved with the decision-making process; and regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to align ELLUCIAN products and services to the client’s business needs. The **Regional Sales Executive** owns and manages the entire sales cycle from initial business development through contract completion; manages and prepares all company personnel interacting with the client; prepares the software pricing and proposal content and works closely with ELLUCIAN Consulting Services for the appropriate scope of services proposed to a client; and consistently manages and accurately forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline and forecast. Additionally, he/she develops short - and long-term plans to achieve strategic sales objectives within the assigned territory; develops, maintains, and shares competitive knowledge to leverage in sales cycles; represents and promotes ELLUCIAN trade association meetings and User Groups. **Where will you make an impact** - Create a pipeline of new opportunities - Identify new potential customers in new markets. - Manage key accounts - Organize regular client meetings to discuss their requirements - Resolve problems and handle complaints in a timely manner - Stay up to date with new features and product launches - Understand Higher Education business drivers and trends. - Monitor and report on sales pipeline performance and analytics - Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience **What you will bring** - Proven work experience as a sales account executive - Hands-on experience with customer service - An ability to gasp clients’ needs and to increase customer engagement - Understanding of consultive sales process and performance metrics - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Analytical and time-management skills - Experience with solutions for Higher Education is desirable - Central America and Colombia is the region to cover - Based in Colombia or Mexico. - Traveling time based on market needs and self-defined to pursue sales objectives - Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a business or technology - At least five (5) years of technology and consulting sales - One (1) to three (3) years of management experience Strategic leadership ability.
